TTI does a range of real-world emissions and fuel consumption testing, both in the field and in a laboratory setting. The new, state of the art Environmental and Emissions Research Facility is the flagship facility that houses our testing equipment. This includes portable emissions measurement systems and other test equipment, which can also be used for field testing. Other test capabilities include testing for fuel consumption (using SAE and other protocols), and testing on various test tracks available to TTI.
